  1. That actually sounds delicious..I would eat that for three months. I'm having cereal and chips and salsa for dinner at 11 pm...ah life as a college student.

  3. Hi,
I came across your blog from another ED blog and I can't help commenting. I'm also trying to recover from an ED (bulimia) and I'm trying to implement some of the stuff you've been doing (like eating enough not to feel hungry but not binge, like you did in this post!)
I have to say I really admire your determination and I hope you're able to say 30 more days without any behaviors!

  5. Do you know how inspiring you are to me? I'm struggling to overcome my ED and your raw insight is enlightening and so much in line with what I am going through. I hope you know you are beautiful. Just remember, no one is more critical of one's body than oneself. Just keep loving life and being honest to yourself!

  7. Hi this is anne from germany again and I just saw your new video but I can´t write there so I hope you read this here. First of all, congratualtions for staying strong at those self-made temptation moments. I know how that goes and I do it to myself from time to time, too. I look at pictures, compare them, watch youtube videos and feel miserable... Why do we have to make it so difficult for ourselvesy??! Anyway, that was not why I am writing. I wanted to comment about Prozac. I perfectly understand your feelings because I had the same ones but let me give you the advice of not hurrying... You will get off of medication, it is a promise!! You will! And maybe even for good! But just don´t do it yet... Well, I mean, I dion´t really know you and everything but I can tell you from my own expoerience (and I think you made similar once?). I got off because I felt so much happier and healthier and didn´t have behaviors so I decided to get off of medication and it worked for a couple of months until I slowly slowly without noticing it got back deeper and deeper into my dark place of not caring for myself anymore and feeling depressed... I got back on medication before it was too late and managed to get back into my healthy life but it was a huge back-kick that I could have avoided... I was back on anidepressants for almost a year and then started a new attempt. That was almost 9 months ago and it worked out!! I still have blue days but I can handle my moods most of the time now. So please... just be patient a little longer.. I believe in you! You are an inspiration for so many. Stay strong! Love and happy easter from Germany

  8. Hi, just came across this blog looking for other recovery blogs. I've just started one myself (trying to recover from bulimia) and support would be fantastic. Here's my blog - http://goodbyetomia.blogspot.co.uk/ x

  9. Btw Happy Day 101 if that happened :) I hope so! You inspire me a lot. I was very much engrossed in this cycle of binging and then counting calories like a crazy person and hating my body incessantly. I feel so lucky that I never got as sick as you did, but reading/watching your story made me really invested in getting healthy and taking care of my body and feeling grateful for it. Also I in no way mean to be a creep but you just sort of reminded me of myself a lot. I watched some old video of you where you listed a bunch of foods that were my like go-to be a creep about food foods and I realized that you were in Washington and I spent a lot of time growing up in Oregon. Also we're about the same age and have the same pink duffle bag and nice boyfriends with the same name. I'm a complete creep. I apologize a bunch. I am really thinking about taking on a mostly vegan lifestyle after reading a lot of your stuff and some other recent research (did you see that thing about carnitine and heart disease in the news?). I was kind of worried about it being another way for me to be weird about food but I think the way you talk about it it's just a better, kinder way of taking care of yourself. I'm too lazy to make a youtube account to comment on your last video but I would love to hear about your whole-foods approach :) So sorry for being so sketchy.

  10. I'm worried that you're beginning to restrict. It just looks like less calories. I know everyone is different, but I'd be soooo hungry only eating that. Look after yourself hunny. I watched your latest video and I know you are having a hard time. x

  17. I am a high school student doing a Civil Action project about Eating Disorders. The guidelines for the project were to pick a topic that interested us and connect it to todays news while also showing that we somehow had gotten involved. I chose to do Eating Disorders because I struggle with one myself and I wanted to become more educated on food and being healthy. How were you able to make the shift in your eating habits? Not only are my parent aware that I struggle, but so are all the doctors I have to see. Even with all the help, I can not seem to get a hold on the fact that I do not eat enough food. What are somethings that helped you and encouraged you to eat more?

  18. Just wanted to say congratulations on your engagement! Thank you so much for sharing your story both here on with your videos! I'm so happy that you're doing so well.

Don't let bridal madness get in the way of being healthy and maintaining good habits.

You are beautiful. You look so much healthier this year as opposed to last, and you are gorgeous.

  19. Hi there, I still don´t know how to comment on youtube so I am doing it here. Congratualtions to your engagement!! I hope your wedding-planning is not stressing you. My wedding is in three weeks, I am so nervous! I have my last fitting for the dress on Tuesday and am anxious that it doesn´t fit anymore. I still don´t trust my body after my post-anorexia-weight gain...
Stay strong, If I can do it, you can do it, too!! Yours, Anne from Germany
